STATE SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

Each state's direct shipping law is unique in the amount of alcohol legally allowed to be delivered to residents. As a result, Malene is not able to ship wine to every state, even in limited amounts.

Malene can only ship to the following states, based on the following restrictions:

AK: Unlimited to non-dry zip codes
AZ: 6 cases per person, per year
CA: Unlimited
CO: Unlimited
CT: 25 bottles per person every 2 months
DC: 1 case per person per month
DE: Unlimited; only on-site sales applicable for shipping
FL: Unlimited to non-dry zip codes - no 6L bottles
GA: 12 cases per household per year
HI: 6 cases per household per year
ID: 24 cases per person per year
IL: 12 cases per person per year
IN: 24 cases per person per year
IA: Unlimited
KS: 12 cases per household per year
KY: 10 cases per person per month
LA: 12 cases per person per year; no 6L bottles; excludes wines in distribution
MA: 12 cases per person per year
MD: 18 cases per household per year
ME: 12 cases per household per year
MI: Unlimited
MN: 2 cases per person per year
MO: 2 cases per person per month
MT: 18 cases per person, per year; no wine(s) to exceed 16% alcohol
NE: 12 cases per person per year
NV: 12 cases per person per fiscal year (beginning July 1)
NH: 12 cases per person per year
NM: 2 cases per person per month
NY: 36 cases per person per year
NC: 2 cases per person per month
ND: 3 cases per person per month
OH: 24 cases per household per year
OK: 6 cases per person per year; winery shipping only
OR: 5 cases per person per month
PA: 36 cases per individual per year
RI: Unlimited; only on-site sales applicable for shipping
SC: 2 cases per person per month; no wine(s) to exceed 16.5% alcohol
SD: 12 cases per person per year
TN: 1 case per person per month; not to exceed 3 cases per person per year
TX: 45 bottles per person per month; not to exceed 15 cases per person per year
VT: 12 cases per person per year; no wine(s) to exceed 16% alcohol
VA: 2 cases per person per month
WA: Unlimited
WV: 2 cases per person per month
WI: 12 cases per person per year
WY: 12 cases per person per year

DELIVERY

In order to guarantee proper temperature control of the wine during shipping, we ship as many orders as possible on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This shipping policy ensures the wine is delivered by Friday and is not stored in a non-temperature controlled warehouse over a weekend period. Please note that we ship only when weather permits.  Your shipment may be placed on a weather hold until temperatures improve to protect your shipment. For most orders, allow 7-10 business days for delivery. For wines shipping to 3-tier states NJ and OH, orders will arrive in 3 to 4 weeks. Alcoholic beverages may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. And in placing an order, the buyer represents to Chamisal Vineyards that the buyer is at least 21 years old and the person to whom delivery will be made is at least 21 years old. When the wine is delivered, the person receiving the delivery may be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.

By law, a signature is required for delivery of wine. No wines will be left on porches and/or doorsteps. Therefore, we recommend that a daytime/business address is provided for shipping of wines. This also insures the wine is not left in a non-temperature-controlled environment until you return home. We cannot guarantee the condition of your wine if we are not able to deliver on the first delivery attempt. Should an order require return, redirect or reshipment, the buyer may be responsible for a return fee and applicable redirect or shipping charges.

Malene makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wine into any state outside of California.
