State Shipping Restrictions
Each state’s direct shipping law is unique in the amount of alcohol legally allowed to be delivered to residents. As a result, Malene is not able to ship wine to every state, even in limited amounts.
Malene Wines can only ship to the following states, in the following amounts:
AK: Unlimited to non-dry zip codes
AZ: 6 cases per person, per year
CA: Unlimited
CO: Unlimited
CT: 25 bottles per person, per 2 months
DC: 1 case per person, per month
FL: Unlimited to non-dry zip codes
GA: 12 cases per address, per year
HI: 6 cases per address, per year
ID: 24 cases per person, per year
IL: 12 cases per person, per year
IA: Unlimited
KS: 12 cases per person, per address, per year
KY: 10 cases per person per month
LA: 12 cases (9L equivalent), per address, per calendar year, 750ml, 1.5L, 3L formats only (wine in distribution excluded)
MA: 12 cases per person, per year
MD: 18 cases per address, per year
ME: 12 cases per person, per calendar year; 750ml, 1.5L, 3L formats only
MI: 1,500 cases per person, per year
MN: 2 cases per person, per year
MO: 2 cases per person, per month
MT: 18 cases per person, per year, not over 16% alcohol
NE: 1 case per person, per month
NV: 12 cases per person, per year
NH: 12 cases per person, per year
NM: 2 cases per person, per month (combined onsite and shipped)
NY: 36 cases per person, per year
NC: 2 cases per person, per month
ND: 3 cases per person, per month
OH: Unlimited. Orders require special delivery and may take 3-4 weeks to arrive
OK: 6 cases per person, per calendar year
OR: 2 cases per person, per month
PA: 36 cases per person, per calendar year
SC: 2 cases per person, per month, not over 16% alcohol
SD: 12 cases per person, per calendar year
TN: 1 case per person, per month, not to exceed 3 cases per year (combined onsite and shipped)
TX: 45 bottles per calendar month, 15 cases per person per year
VT: 12 cases per person, per year, not to exceed 16% alcohol
VA: 2 cases per person, per month
WA: Unlimited
WV: 2 cases per person, per month
WI: 12 cases per person, per year (combined onsite and shipped)
WY: 12 cases per household, per year
Shipping Policies
Please note that we ship only when weather permits. Your shipment may be placed on a weather hold until temperatures improve to protect your shipment. For most orders, allow 7-10 business days for delivery. Please call Malene Wines at 805.235.3338 for more information.
Alcoholic beverages may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. In placing an order, the buyer represents to Malene Wines that the buyer is at least 21 years old and the person to whom delivery will be made is at least 21 years old. When the wine is delivered, the person receiving the delivery may be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.
By law, a signature is required for delivery of wine. No wines will be left on porches and/or doorsteps. Therefore, we recommend that a daytime/business address is provided for shipping of wines. This also insures the wine is not left in a non-temperature-controlled environment until you return home. We cannot guarantee the condition of your wine if we are not able to deliver on the first delivery attempt. Should an order require return, redirect or reshipment, the buyer may be responsible for a return fee and applicable redirect or shipping charges.
